If you are using our email services and are not directly connected to our network then you will need to configure SMTP Authentication.
From the 'Tools' menu at the top, click on 'Accounts
Select the account you wish to change from the list available. In the example below we have one previously created called pop3.pobox.co.uk. Click on this account heading and then click on the 'Properties' button to the right hand side.
A mail account 'properties' dialogue box will open. As per the example below, select the 'Servers' tab.
Simply tick the box that reads 'My Server Requires Authentication'. Click on Apply and then 'OK. And finally 'Close'. You are now ready to send email via smtp.pobox.co.uk with the correct authentication set.
